Tonight’s WWE Raw started with Seth Rollins making a return for the first time since WrestleMania 40.

Making his surprise return to kick off tonight’s show, Seth Rollins revealed that he was back to reclaim his WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
Noting that he knows a thing or two about the Money in the Bank ladder match, Rollins was then interrupted by Damian Priest.

After a back-and-forth, Damian Priest got so heated that he told Rollins to forget about entering the Money in the Bank ladder match, and instead straight up offered Rollins a championship match at the Money in the Bank event – an offer that Rollins accepted.
Going back to WrestleMania, when Seth Rollins lost the WWE World Heavyweight Championship to Drew McIntyre, it was shortly thereafter lost by McIntyre to Priest as he cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to become the new champ.

Rollins would make a surprise appearance on WrestleMania Sunday where he appeared during the main event between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns which also saw cameo appearances by the Undertaker and The Rock, but hasn’t been seen since then.
Elsewhere on tonight’s WWE Raw, fans continue to patiently await what will happen now that the ominous QR code related countdown clock is over and now reads ‘We’re Here’.
