To open tonight’s July 1 edition of WWE Raw, there was a segment featuring Jey Uso, Chad Gable and the Wyatt Sicks.
While Jey Uso kicked off Monday Night Raw with an in-ring promo about the upcoming Money in the Bank ladder match, he was then interrupted by one of his opponents in that match, Chad Gable.
The pair sparred verbally about who the Wyatt Sicks should be targeting, with Jey Uso saying he was happy to hand back the ‘fireflies” to them so he doesn’t end up like Gable.
However, the lights soon went out, and it was clear Gable was being targeted by the Wyatts once again.
As he backed away from the ring, he was confronted by an illuminated figure blocking his path, seemingly Joe Gacy of the Wyatt Sicks.
Gable continued to try and get backstage but was blocked by two further members of the Wyatt Sicks – who seemed to be Erick Rowan and Dexter Lumis – as he eventually backed up through the crowd to escape.
However, back at the ringside area it was apparent that the ‘extra security’ for the commentators had fallen victim to something sinister as they were laid out on the desk.
Nikki Cross seemingly gave Michael Cole another cardboard box – just like she did last week with the Bo Dallas video – as the segment ended with a jump scare going to commercial.
After the break it was revealed that it again contained another VHS tape, which we’ll seemingly get to see later tonight.
The Wyatt Sicks made their big debut two weeks ago on WWE Raw when there was an apparent melee backstage during which they struck numerous people down, including Chad Gable.
