On tonight’s July 1 episode of WWE Raw there was a vignette segment featuring one star revealing he has broken ribs.
After a match against Bron Breakker on last week’s episode of WWE Raw, Ludwig Kaiser’s night didn’t end there.
There was a post-match brawl featuring Breakker, Kaiser and Sheamus, the latter of whom essentially caused the match to be thrown out when he appeared and attacked Kaiser with a massive jumping knee at ringside.
Breakker came out of the brawl on top, as when Sheamus had Kaiser on his shoulder, Breakker speared Sheamus which effectively dropped Kaiser as well.
It was reported after the segment that Kaiser had suffered an injury, and he made an announcement during Raw tonight.
Ludwig Kaiser stated he suffered broken ribs at the hands of Sheamus, but vowed to return stronger and more powerful than ever to seek his retribution.
Kaiser was supposed to be part of the three-way Money in the Bank qualifier with Drew McIntyre and Sheamus tonight, but was replaced by Ilja Dragunov due to legitimately being injured.
Elsewhere on tonight’s WWE Raw, the last Money in the Bank qualifying match for the women’s ladder match determined the full lineup.
The women’s Money in the Bank ladder match on Saturday, July 6 will feature Chelsea Green, IYO SKY, Tiffany Stratton, Naomi and finally Zoey Stark, who beat both Ivy Nile and Dakota Kai tonight to earn entry.
