CM Punk’s next WWE appearance following the controversial ending to Clash at the Castle has been confirmed.
Punk made a surprise appearance at the end of the WWE Clash at the Castle premium live event in Glasgow on Saturday.
Punk came to the ring dressed as a referee, where he slid into the ring following a referee bump, holding up a count on Drew McIntyre, before low blowing him.
Punk’s interference allowed for Damian Priest to defeat McIntyre and retain the World Heavyweight Championship, causing a riot from the fans in Glasgow.
At the post-show press conference, Punk noted that he would not be on tonight’s Raw show due to being in Chicago ahead of him being cleared to return to the ring, but teased that he would be appearing on SmackDown in Chicago on June 21.
Now, the Allstate Arena, the host venue of the show, has confirmed that CM Punk will be appearing at the tapings taking place in Chicago, Illinois this Friday.
It was not confirmed whether or not Punk will be appearing on television.
