A top WWE star has announced that they’re unable to make their planned appearance at the June 28 edition of SmackDown.

With SmackDown emanating from New York City’s Madison Square Garden, a big night of action was promised – including three Money in the Bank qualifying matches and Jacob Fatu’s Bloodline Acknowledgement Ceremony.
While all of that action will be seen by fans at home, there was an extra treat in store for the fans watching live from MSG – that being an appearance from hometown favorite Damian Priest.
Priest was set to defend his World Heavyweight Championship in a dark match against Jey Uso following SmackDown, however, sadly that will no longer be happening.
Having previously warned fans that he was dealing with “plane issues” via a post on Twitter, Priest would provide further update in which he sadly announced that he would be unable to make it on time to compete at WWE SmackDown:

Priest wrote:

It’s currently unknown what match will take the place of Priest vs. Uso in the main event spot of the show.
