In the main event of tonight’s July 19 episode of WWE SmackDown there was a pair of big storyline developments.

During the main event segment, it was revealed that Kevin Owens would be Cody Rhodes’ mystery partner.
They were set to face off against A-Town Down Under (Austin Theory and Grayson Waller), but by the end of the show there were two developments to note.
In the final moments of the actual match, there was yet another mishap from A-Town Down Under as dissension between them continues to grow.
After Cody Rhodes escaped what appeared to be a planned double-team move, Theory and Waller’s tensions boiled over.

With Theory catching Waller before he was able to ‘accidentally’ kick him again as has happened in previous weeks, Waller would turn on Theory again.
Waller shoved Theory into the path of Cody Rhodes hitting a Cody Cutter, and in the end Theory would be pinned.
While Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens picked up the victory, their celebration was short lived as they were attacked by the Bloodline.

With another vicious beatdown that mirrored last week’s on Randy Orton, the new Bloodline would this time take out Kevin Owens.
Owens would sustain a beating from the Bloodline and seemingly was written off of television for some period of time due to its severity, as he was driven into the ring post with a steel chair around his neck.
Randy Orton, for example, was absent from tonight’s show after the attack last week.

By the end, Cody Rhodes had also been driven through the announcer’s table as the four new Bloodline members – Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa stood tall.
