Tonight’s WWE SmackDown (September 20) was meant to clarify an upcoming championship match at WWE Bad Blood but didn’t work out that way.

On tonight’s WWE SmackDown, a tornado tag match saw WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton team together to take on Bayley and Naomi with two stipulations in place.
If Bayley and Naomi won, whoever captured the pinfall would be granted a WWE Women’s Championship match against Nia Jax at Bad Blood.
Also, if Bayley and Naomi lost, whoever was pinned would be banished from SmackDown.

In the end, Nia Jax was pinned by both Naomi and Bayley at the same time (possible thanks to the tornado rules), leading to a loss for Jax and Stratton, but not a clear victory for either Bayley or Naomi to determine which of them would get the title match at Bad Blood.
After the commercial break, Nick Aldis determined that the way to settle the confusion would be to have a match next week.

On next week’s SmackDown in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma – Bayley and Naomi will go one-on-one to determine who will get a title match against Nia Jax at WWE Bad Blood.
Also next week, the sixth running of Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes as the former leads their series at 3-2, after a backstage altercation on tonight’s show.
