Kevin Owens took over a headset in order to discuss the recent altercation after WWE Bad Blood when he was seen attacking Cody Rhodes.

After WWE Bad Blood 2024, fans caught an altercation on camera between Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes in which Owens attacked the champ seemingly unprovoked – although potentially indirectly provoked by Rhodes’ decision to team with Roman Reigns that night.
During tonight’s WWE SmackDown, Owens interrupted an entrance from NXT stars Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend to speak his mind.
While he attempted to rush the ring, the microphone was cut off so he went to the commentator’s desk and took Corey Graves’ headset.
He said the situation was “ridiculous” as it was Cody Rhodes who in fact “turned on” HIM, not the other way around.

Asking if people were kidding believing he was in the wrong for this, his rant would be cut short by the arrival of Cody Rhodes himself.
Cody simply started walking out and dropped his jacket as KO then snapped to attention, getting into the ring to tell Cody to bring it on.
However, when security was attempting to hold back both Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes, it would be an emerging Randy Orton who de-escalated things.

An unlikely voice of reason, Orton first attempted to tell Rhodes to cool off then went in the ring to address Owens.
However, it would end in Orton throwing his fist into Owens’ face as KO retreated, seemingly in shock.
Later in a backstage segment, Randy Orton encouraged Cody Rhodes to stand down and allow him to try and reason with Owens.

Nick Aldis also encouraged Rhodes to focus on his upcoming opponent at Crown Jewel, GUNTHER, rather than his issues with Owens.
