With an appearance by WWE SmackDown’s Cody Rhodes already confirmed, two Raw stars are heading back to their old stomping ground.

Rhodes had teased an appearance on the Tuesday night show while he was watching WWE NXT Battleground, suggesting he could be “dashing” down and promising a gift and to “see some old friends.”
The crossover appearances don’t end there, either, with New Catch Republic making their intentions clear on Twitter after Wolfgang and Mark Coffey of Gallus ran interference at NXT Battleground.
The match saw Oba Femi retain the NXT North American Championship against Wes Lee and Gallus’ Joe Coffey, with highlights below this news story.
That wouldn’t be the end of their antics with Gallus going on to attack Lee backstage, with footage from that encounter below this news story.

Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne had words to share about the actions of Gallus in a WWE Digital Exclusive that can also be seen below, with Bate saying:
“Gallus. Looks like you’re up to your old tricks. Now, I’ve been in Wes’ position before and Wes is my mate and I’m not going to stand there and watch my mate get bullied.”

'

Pete Dunne would chip in with his own thoughts about the Gallus boys being “on top”, stating:
“Gallus boys on top. On top of what? Cos, I know it’s not British wrestling, cos we’ve been on top for time and we’ve been waiting for lads to prove it.
“We waited in NXT UK, we waited in NXT, we’ve been waiting on Raw and SmackDown and you still haven’t proved it.
“So, tomorrow, lads, prove it. Gallus boys on top. Shut up!”

The final words would be from Bate, who set the match for the June 11 episode of WWE NXT, saying:
“So, I guess, tomorrow night at NXT, it’s Wes Lee and the New Catch Republic against Gallus.
“Thank you, thank you and goodbye.”

Bate has previously held the WWE United Kingdom Championship being the first and last to hold the title, along with both the NXT UK and NXT Tag Team Championships (with Trent Seven).
Dunne is also a former WWE United Kingdom Champion and NXT Tag Team Champion (with Matt Riddle).
