Details have emerged on plans for WWE to use a special ring at WrestleMania 40 due to the expected weather conditions.
Holding a show in an outdoor stadium poses a potential threat when it comes to rain – like we saw at WrestleMania 37 – but also just the fact it’ll probably be colder than an indoor venue.
That’s anticipated to be the case this weekend, and WWE is well aware of that.
According to PWInsider Elite, WWE will use a special heated ring that was first made a few years ago when WrestleMania was held in New Jersey.
Heat will be pumped into the ring from all four corners.
And just in case there is an issue with rain, which isn’t currently expected to be the case, there’ll be a canopy over the ring as well.
The official set reveal was released by WWE last night, which you can see below:
It's time for the #WrestleMania XL set reveal at @LFFStadium in Philadelphia alongside The Ninja Kidz, @KaylaBraxtonWWE & @jackie_redmond!
