WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has sent a message of thanks following the record-breaking success of WrestleMania 40.
This past weekend’s Showcase of the Immortals: WrestleMania 40, was not only received extremely positively by a majority of the WWE fanbase, but the event also saw several records shattered in the process.
Setting records for viewership, live gate attendance across the weekend and merchandise sales amongst other metrics, WrestleMania 40 not only became the most successful in the event’s history but also the most successful WWE event of all-time period.
Now, following the release of the official numbers, Triple H has taken to social media to comment, offering his thanks to everyone that made it possible.
Posting to Twitter, Triple H wrote:
“Biggest WrestleMania ever” was never just a tagline. Between the level of talent in the ring & behind the scenes, & the passion of the @WWEUniverse, it’s no surprise #WrestleMania XL set records across the board. On the first WWE Raw of the ‘Paul Levesque Era’ Triple H opened the Raw after WrestleMania to welcome new Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes.
Following this, Rhodes was confronted by WrestleMania 40 Night One opponent The Rock, with a future match between the two teased.
