WWE WrestleMania 40 broke another all-time record

WWE WrestleMania 40 took place on April 6 & 7 2024 in Philadelphia with Night 2 breaking an all-time event record.

After the two-night Premium Live Event, WWE officially announced that WrestleMania 40 was the most successful event in company history.
Wrestlenomics has now provided a further breakdown of the success of Night 2 in particular.
According to Brandon Thurston’s breakdown of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission public records, the Sunday night WrestleMania 40 show set a new record for the all-time pro-wrestling gate for a single-day event.
Thurston reported that April 7 saw WWE generate $18,433,325 in ticket sales to set the record.

Night 1 on Saturday, by comparison, generated $17,656,965 in ticket sales with neither figure including ticket fees.
WrestleMania 40 took place at Lincoln Financial Field, with the April 5 WWE SmackDown, April 6 NXT Stand & Deliver and April 8 Raw taking place at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
WWE SmackDown generated $2,022,405, with NXT Stand & Deliver seeing tickets sales of $1,109,245.

The WWE Raw after WrestleMania on April 8 drew $2,243,015, bringing WrestleMania weekend to a close.
In WWE’s official press release, it was reported that 145,298 fans were in attendance over both nights with viewership up by 41% on WrestleMania 39.
It was recently reported that Saudi Arabia was interested in hosting a future WWE WrestleMania or Royal Rumble PLE.
