A top WWE star has vowed to “save” the United States Championship from Logan Paul ahead of a potential SummerSlam match.

For several weeks LA Knight has been in pursuit of The Maverick Logan Paul and his United States Championship.
Despite holding a pinfall victory over Paul in a Money in the Bank qualifying match on June 28 Knight has still yet to secure a title opportunity, with Paul’s appearances on WWE TV continuing to be sporadic.
Luckily for Knight he has a contract for a match against Paul at SummerSlam in his possession, all he needs is for the 29-year-old to sign on the dotted line.

Taking to Twitter ahead of the July 19 Smackdown from Omaha, NE, Knight vowed to “save” the US Title from Paul once he gets his signature:

Paul is scheduled to appear at SmackDown tonight, so we shall see if Knight is successful in making the match official for SummerSlam on August 3.
