WWE star Finn Balor has broken his silence after betraying his Judgment Day teammate Damian Priest at SummerSlam.
Priest faced off against King of the Ring winner GUNTHER at the August 3 premium live event, with his World Heavyweight Championship on the line.
After almost a year of teases, Finn Balor betrayed during this bout, putting GUNTHER’s foot on the ropes to break a count and keep the Ring General in the title match.
With GUNTHER taking advantage of a distracted Priest, Balor successfully caused his Judgment Day stablemate to lose his World Heavyweight Championship.
Balor has now taken to Twitter to celebrate this betrayal, writing:
I woke up in a good mood

Finn Balor wasn’t the only Judgment Day member to betray his teammate, with Dominik Mysterio betraying Rhea Ripley during her Women’s World Championship match.
After preventing Ripley from using a steel chair on Liv Morgan during the bout, Dirty Dom slid the chair to Morgan and distracted the referee so that the champion could hit Ripley with an ObLivion onto the chair to retain her gold.
Mysterio then kissed Morgan and left the arena with her.
JD McDonagh has now broken his silence on the Judgment Day faction imploding at SummerSlam, which you can read more about right here.
