Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes won’t be facing Solo Sikoa at WWE Bad Blood 2024 according to a recent report.

Rhodes and Sikoa faced each other at WWE SummerSlam on August 3, 2024, in a Bloodline Rules match which brought about the return of Roman Reigns.
With Rhodes retaining the Undisputed WWE Championship, WWE Bash in Berlin saw The American Nightmare retain against Kevin Owens.
Sikoa made it clear that he wanted a match with the winner of that match, with it later being confirmed by WWE that Rhodes would respond to the Tribal Chief’s offer on this week’s SmackDown (September 6).
While many assumed this would result in a match being booked for WWE Bad Blood on October 5 that may not be what the company have in store.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that we won’t be getting the rematch at WWE Bad Blood specifically, but it is still in the company’s plans:
“From what I was told Cody and Solo are not scheduled for Bad Blood. I don’t know when that match is gonna be, they are obviously on Friday’s show going to set up a match.”

It was previously reported that Drew McIntyre and CM Punk were ‘currently planned as a main event‘ on the upcoming PLE.
Plans for Bron Breakker on WWE Bad Blood were also revealed with an Intercontinental Championship Tournament to decide the number one contender currently underway.
