An update has emerged on the status of CM Punk following his Hell in a Cell match at the WWE Bad Blood 2024 premium live event.
Punk entered the Hell in a Cell structure to battle Drew McIntyre, following months of ‘bad blood’ between the duo.
CM Punk ultimately won the brutal match, after 31 minutes of action.
With Drew McIntyre requiring 16 staples in his head following the bout, there has been some speculation about CM Punk’s condition, with Punk also bleeding during the match.
Punk notably stumbled away from the ringside area following the bout, with medical personnel giving Punk an oxygen mask after he collapsed on the way to the back.
Per PWInsider, Punk collapsing wasn’t any sign of injury, and was instead Punk selling the brutality of the match.
The report did note that both stars are ‘banged up’ following Bad Blood, but it appears that Punk avoided a serious injury.
