Making a surprise return to kick off the first AEW Dynamite after All In London 2024, Jon Moxley made his first appearance in months.
Last seen on Dynamite back in June and in AEW at Forbidden Door, Moxley returned with a new aura about him and a change-up in entrance music.
Coming out to his NJPW Deathrider theme music instead of the usual Wild Thing, Jon Moxley appeared through the crowd and took to the ring.
Springing into action, Tony Schiavone had decided to get an immediate comment upon the return, despite saying Moxley’s return not being on their plan for the show.
In the ring, Moxley sported a different look and also spoke with a more dastardly cadence in telling Schiavone two main points.
One, Jon Moxley is looking for Darby Allin and menacingly said that he didn’t plan on being hard for Darby to find.
Secondly, he paused before leaving the ring to turn back, telling Schiavone:
“I’m gonna tell you something, I want you to listen to me. It’s gonna take some time for everybody to wrap their brains around this, but we’re gonna start right now, okay?
“Listen to me. This is not your company anymore.”
