A top AEW star may have been written off television for some period of time at All Out 2024 after a post-match attack to start the show.
The opening match of AEW All Out 2024 saw Daniel Garcia face MJF as the pair looked to settle their personal feud.
At the end of the match, MJF delivered a low blow behind the referee’s back and would then be able to pin Daniel Garcia.
Despite picking up the pinfall loss in the match, Garcia would go on to deliver the final blow of the interaction.
While MJF offered Garcia a handshake, he attempted to then sneakily deliver a low blow again but was instead caught by Garcia.
Daniel Garcia would go on to hit MJF with a low blow of his own before delivering a piledriver off the ropes before further taunting the former champion to end the segment.
Considering the damage a piledriver off the ropes should do, and did to Garcia earlier in the feud, MJF could be off TV for a few weeks after tonight.
At the very least, if he does appear anytime soon, he’ll likely be selling some kind of neck injury for some time.
The segment ended with Garcia leaving through the crowd cheering him on with MJF still down in the ring.
