A match for Chris Jericho has been confirmed for the upcoming AEW All In London pay-per-view event taking place at Wembley Stadium.
Jericho’s band Fozzy has a concert during All In weekend, but he’ll be stepping into the ring during the pay-per-view itself as well.
As announced on tonight’s August 14 edition of AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho will defend the FTW Championship against HOOK at All In on August 25.
Jericho won the title from HOOK back in April at AEW Dynasty, and has since renamed it the “For The World” Championship, as opposed to the “F**k The World” Championship.
An added stipulation as noted by Jericho tonight is that if HOOK loses, he can never challenge Jericho for the title again.
Also, HOOK has a match against Jericho’s henchman Big Bill on Dynamite next week.
At least year’s AEW All In London, which also took place at Wembley, Jericho was defeated by Will Ospreay.
Also last year, HOOK defeated Jack Perry in an FTW Championship match – the match during which Perry made comments that prompted his backstage confrontation with CM Punk.
