A former All Elite Wrestling star who recently departed the company is set to return to the company in a backstage role.

In December, former AEW star QT Marshall announced that he was set to leave the company on January 1, 2024 amid his contract expiring.
Marshall had been working as a wrestler and behind the scenes, but cited wanting to wrestle more as one of his reasons for leaving.
However, in an update from Fightful Select, Marshall is set to return to AEW, but in a different capacity than before.

It was indicated to Fightful that Marshall and AEW had worked out their previous issues, and that he will be returning to the company in the vice president role he held before.
However, Marshall is not planned to return as an in-ring talent in the company.
Those that spoke to Fightful said that an agreement was in place as of a couple of weeks ago, though he has not started back with the company as of yet.

Marshall is said to be free to wrestle outside of AEW, with the obvious exception of WWE.
Marshall has not wrestled a match since his AEW contract expired on December 31.
Marshall has teamed up with Teil Rhodes to revive Turnbuckle Championship Wrestling, the creation of Dusty Rhodes, which recently held it’s first show back on February 8.
