A current champion in AEW is out of action with an injury, though will be returning to the ring next month.

In recent weeks, CMLL stars have invaded AEW Dynamite, taking part in a rivalry with the Blackpool Combat Club.
Specifically, Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli have been representing the BCC against the CMLL stars, with ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta’s absence being noted by many.

In an update from Fightful Select, Yuta has been out of action with an injury, which is the reason for his absence from AEW television.
However, it is likely that Yuta’s injury will not keep him out of action for too much longer, as he has been announced alongside the rest of the Blackpool Combat Club against stars from CMLL at the March 29 CMLL event in Arena Mexico.

Yuta will team with Moxley, Danielson and Castagnoli against Blue Panther, Mistico, Volador Jr and Ultimo Guerrero on the show.
Yuta captured the ROH Pure Championship from Katsuyori Shibata on the November 25 episode of AEW Rampage.
He last competed on the January 10 episode of Rampage, losing to Eddie Kingston in an AEW Continental Crown match.
