An AEW star has been removed from the official AEW roster page after previously describing their plan to make the United States their home.

The official AEW roster page has now seen Yuka Sakazaki removed.
Sakazaki had numerous matches in AEW, including at the inaugural AEW pay-per-view Double or Nothing 2019 and most recently appearing in early 2023.
She went on to have a ROH Women’s Championship match against Athena at Supercard of Honor in March before returning to Japan.
In May 2023, a press conference was held to announce that she would be graduating from Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling at the end of the year.

At the time, Sakazaki commented on plans for 2024, including moving to the United States full time and pursuing her wrestling career in America.
However it seems that career may not include AEW with Yuka Sakazaki no longer appearing on the official roster page, however her immediate plans are not known.
With free agency in professional wrestling, if the last year has proven anything it is that you can always expect the unexpected.

We’ll keep you posted with any further update on Sakazaki’s status.
As of this writing, neither she nor AEW have made an official announcement that she’s departed the company.
