AEW star Wheeler Yuta has not been cleared to compete and has been pulled from an upcoming big match at a CMLL event.

Since the inception of the promotion, All Elite Wrestling has worked closely with various companies from NJPW to IMPACT Wrestling.
2024 has seen AEW working more often with CMLL, a Mexican-based promotion. The stars from the company have appeared on AEW Dynamite, Rampage and Collision.
This coming week will see the stars of All Elite Wrestling making a visit over to Arena Mexico. However, it now seems there will be one less star joining them.
On March 25, CMLL announced that ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta has not been medically cleared to compete on the company’s March 29 show.

Yuta was set to team with his fellow Blackpool Combat Club members Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli and Bryan Danielson to face Mistico, Volador Jr., Ultimo Guerrero and Blue Panther in an eight-man tag team bout.
AEW star Matt Sydal will replace Yuta alongside the rest of the BCC against the CMLL unit.
Blackpool Combat Club and CMLL have been engaged in a rivalry since January 2024. The bout will serve as a blowoff to their issues started on AEW TV.

The show will also feature fellow AEW talent Willow Nightingale competing in a trios match on the card.
JJA Sport Studio will provide any further updates on Wheeler Yuta’s status when they become available.
