AEW star and current TNT Champion Adam Copeland has been hailed as the “definition of a leader” by Mike Bennett.
On the April 3 edition of AEW Dynamite, Adam Copeland kicked off the show to send a message of positivity for wrestling fans to enjoy wrestling regardless of promotion.
This was viewed as a response to former two-time AEW World Champion and current WWE star CM Punk’s inflammatory comments towards his former company in an interview with Ariel Helwani on the MMA Hour.
During a recent interview, Copeland revealed that he never watched the full Punk interview and explained the reasonings for his promo.
In response to the quote, ROH World Tag Team Champion Mike Bennett of The Undisputed Kingdom took to social media to hail Adam Copeland as the “definition of a leader.” He wrote:
They always say never meet your heroes. @RatedRCope is the exception to the rule. The very definition of a leader. @AEW is a better place with him in the locker room. https://t.co/WNDTjJ0bUH
