AEW star Will Ospreay has stated that he’d be curious about how a match between himself and a popular WWE star would go now.
While Ospreay currently wrestles as a high-flying heavyweight, the British star previously wrestled as one of NJPW’s top junior heavyweight stars.
Ospreay mastered a wrestling style which some people affectionately termed “flippy s**t”, but there was always one star who rivalled his high-flying skill.
The Aerial Assassin had many entertaining battles with Ricochet both in NJPW and on the independent scene, ahead of Ricochet joining WWE in January 2018.
Ospreay has now taken to Twitter to share an interesting comment on a video of his and Ricochet’s Best Of The Super Juniors 2016 tournament clash.

The duo last faced off in the semi-finals of the 2017 WCPW Pro Wrestling World Cup.
Both Ospreay and Ricochet have big opportunities lined up, with Ospreay set to challenge for Roderick Strong’s International Championship at the May 26 AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view.
Ricochet meanwhile is a competitor in the 2024 King of the Ring tournament, which will conclude at the May 25 WWE King & Queen of the Ring premium live event.
He is slated to face off against NXT call-up Ilja Dragunov in the first round on Monday’s (May 6) edition of Raw.
