MJF returned at AEW Double or Nothing with the Wolf of Wrestling going on to open the June 5 episode of Dynamite.
His return address to the fans saw him take shots at members of the AEW men’s roster, leading to an interruption from Rush.
Footage from the opening of last night’s Dynamite can be seen below this news story with MJF, once again, catching the attention of Wardlow.
Following AEW Double or Nothing on May 26, Wardlow reacted to MJF’s return by telling him to “keep dreaming” over his apparent desire to be “6’3″ [and] 270lbs”.
Last night’s promo from MJF has seen Wardlow react once again on Twitter, reposting the “Lone Wolf” tweet by AEW, writing:
He wants to be a 6’3 270lb monster athlete so bad. Now stealing my whole identity? Call yourself the “lone wolf” all you want. you’re still just a pussy that I squashed like nothing. Almost feel bad for the little boy, but the disrespect has gone too far for too long https://t.co/XYZQo45jM8

MJF has also reacted to being called a “lone wolf” by AEW, giving a shout out to WWE’s Baron Corbin as a result.
According to Dave Meltzer, MJF will face Rush at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 30, 2024.
Wardlow made his AEW debut on November 13 2019 as MJF’s bodyguard, later joining The Pinnacle.
He would split from the group in March 2022, going on to face MJF at AEW Double or Nothing in 2022 and winning his freedom from MJF’s contract.
A three-time AEW TNT Champion, Wardlow aligned himself with The Undisputed Kingdom in December 2023.
