FTW Champion Chris Jericho has explained why his current Learning Tree gimmick is his favourite incarnation of his character.
Jericho has become the ‘Learning Tree’ in recent weeks, with he, Big Bill and Bryan Keith taking part in incredibly over the top backstage segments and talk shows.
Throughout the years, Jericho has been renowned for constantly reinventing himself, but which version of his character is his personal favourite?
Speaking to TMZ Sports, Jericho claimed that his current era of Jericho is his current one, explaining that he wouldn’t be doing it if he didn’t think it was the best.
He said:
“People will always ask me ‘What’s your favorite era of Chris Jericho?’ I always say the one I’m in right now. The Learning Tree. If it’s not, then why am I doing it?
“There’s been a lot of great moments, but I like this era. I like what’s going on right now.”
Jericho is set to invite Private Party onto ‘TV Time’ on next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
