Following his suspension from the company, a new report has revealed absent AEW star Sammy Guevara is returning soon.
On the February 16 edition of AEW Rampage, Sammy Guevara defeated Jeff Hardy. During the course of the bout, Guevara injured Hardy, causing him a concussion.
Since he didn’t follow the company’s concussion protocol, Guevara was suspended for his actions and has not appeared on AEW TV since losing to Powerhouse Hobbs on the February 24 episode of Collision.
After nearly five months away from the company’s programming, many fans have been wondering when Guevara will make his return.
Fightful Select provided an update, noting that Sammy Guevara could be poised for a return to the company. The report notes that Guevara’s return to AEW TV has been discussed over the last few weeks.
The former three-time TNT Champion has not been suspended over the last couple of months, and has simply not been used on television.
It remains to be seen when Guevara will make his AEW return at the time of this writing.
