AEW International Champion MJF has announced that he will defend his title during an international appearance for CMLL.
MJF won the International Championship on the July 17 AEW Dynamite 250 episode, defeating Will Ospreay just seconds before the 1 hour time limit.
With many wondering what’s next for the new champion, Mexican promotion CMLL has shared a video from MJF following his 59-minute match.
In the video, which you can watch below, MJF announced that he will be in action at the promotion’s August 2 show in Arena Mexico.
He confirmed that he will be defending his title on the show.
MJF is familiar with some of the talent from CMLL, with the star defeating Hechicero at the June 30 Forbidden Door pay-per-view.
