Another former champion in All Elite Wrestling’s contract is set to expire later this year, with interest from WWE.

It was recently reported that former AEW World Tag Team and AEW Trios World Champion Penta El Zero Miedo’s contract was set to expire, with WWE reportedly having interest in signing him.
With Penta’s contract set to expire, fans had wondered about the status of his tag team partner and brother Rey Fenix, and a new report states that his deal will also be expiring soon.

Per Fightful Select, Fenix’s AEW contract is also set to expire later this year, though Fightful hasn’t been able to nail down exactly when that will be as of now.
Those within AEW have said that the company wants to retain Fenix and Penta, and that there were offer extended to the pair and contract talks, though Fightful has not heard how those talks have been.

Fenix, much like Penta, is expected to have interest from WWE.
Both men have been with AEW since 2019, and are both World Tag Team and World Trios Champions, with Fenix also being a former International Champion.
