Ahead of her title match at AEW All In, popular star Mina Shirakawa of STARDOM has commented on Mariah May’s heel turn.
At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, Timeless Toni Storm defeated Mina Shirakawa to retain the AEW Women’s World Championship.
Post match, Mariah May brought the two women together for a three-way kiss. However, this partnership did not see further developments.
On the July 10 edition of AEW Dynamite, May turned on Storm after winning the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament Finals in a bloody beatdown.
Speaking to Tokyo Sports, Mina Shirakawa commented on Mariah May’s actions towards Timeless Toni Storm. She said:
“It was a shock. Personally, I wanted to do something interesting with the three of us. I don’t know what Mariah thinks of me or what she might do to me, so I want to find out,”
Shirakawa is set to return to the United States and will miss STARDOM’s 5 STAR Grand Prix tournament.
Mariah May is scheduled to challenge Timeless Toni Storm for the AEW Women’s World Championship on Sunday, August 25 at AEW All In London. For the full lineup for the show, click here.
