A former WWE star has officially signed a multi-year deal with All Elite Wrestling, and is planned for this Sunday’s AEW All In event.
Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Ricochet’s contract with WWE expired back in July, with him becoming a free agent.
Ricochet was written off WWE television by Bron Breakker back in June ahead of his contract expiration, with it being expected by many that he would be headed to AEW.
Things between Ricochet and AEW were very quiet for a few weeks, but that has now changed.
In an update from Fightful Select (subscription required), Ricochet is planned for upcoming AEW shows, and he has officially signed a multi-year deal with the company.
Those familiar with the situation noted that Ricochet is set to travel to London for this Sunday’s AEW All In event, and that he was planned for the show at Wembley Stadium.
It is not known what his involvement in the show would be, though it would likely be as a part of the Casino Gauntlet match.
Orange Cassidy, Hangman Adam Page, Mark Briscoe, Kyle O’Reilly and Evil Uno are the names confirmed for the match so far.
