Current AEW International Champion Will Ospreay has commented on his AEW Dynasty match with Bryan Danielson.
At AEW Dynasty, Will Ospreay defeated Bryan Danielson in a highly praised match that many fans have lauded as one of the best of 2024.
In a new interview with Inside The Ropes, Ospreay reflected on his match with Bryan Danielson. He said:
“Yeah, 100% met my expectations. The moment we were in the ring they started saying ‘Holy s**t.’”
“I know what’s a good match and what’s not. All I gotta do is close my eyes and just listen to the audience, and they were enjoying every single minute of it.”
“Getting to come backstage was just one of those incredible moments. You ever see Avengers: Endgame where Iron Man sits down and he’s dying, and she goes, ‘you can rest now.’ It was an incredible moment and then here comes another Iron Man film.
Danielson defeated Swerve Strickland to win the AEW World Championship at All In London in August. He will now move on to face Nigel McGuinness on the September 25 Grand Slam edition of Dynamite.
Meanwhile, Will Ospreay will team with Kyle Fletcher to face The Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Championships at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam.
