Following the new WBD deal, AEW commentator Tony Schiavone says his career will continue for “at least four to five years.”

On October 2, All Elite Wrestling and Warner Bros Discovery announced their new multi-year, multi-platform media rights deal that will keep the promotion on TBS, TNT and debuting on Max until at least 2028.
Speaking at the AEW WrestleDream post-show media scrum, Tony Schiavone commented on the new deal and his own career. He said:

“We’re very very excited about our renewal with Warner Brothers Discovery and Fox Sports Mexico. We’re very very excited about that.”
“I’m personally excited that my long-time career is going to continue for at least another four to five years or so. I’m honored to be here,”

Schiavone is currently a commentator on both AEW Dynamite every Wednesday and Collision every Saturday.
The long time announcer is also on the call for every AEW pay-per-view event as well.
