An upcoming AEW show is officially set to go head-to-head with night one of WWE WrestleMania 40 on April 6.

WWE is set to host night one of WrestleMania 40 on Saturday, April 6, 2024 as the company produces two nights of the event for the fifth straight year.
With the first night of the event set to take place on a Saturday night, it would seemingly be set to clash with an episode of AEW Collision, as previous WWE premium live events have since June.

That will indeed also be the case this year, as AEW is set to air an episode of Collision on April 6.
However, the show will not be live, and will be taped on Wednesday, April 3 following AEW Dynamite in Worcester, Massachusetts.

AEW previously aired an episode of Collision head-to-head with the Royal Rumble on January 27, which featured Daniel Garcia and FTR taking on the House of Black in a Steel Cage.
WWE is set to host it’s next premium live event, Elimination Chamber, this Saturday, though it will not air head to head with Collision due to taking place in Perth, Australia.
This week’s Collision show will see Bryan Danielson face off with Jun Akiyama.
