MVP has commented on Swerve Strickland’s AEW return segment and decision at last night’s AEW WrestleDream event.
MVP made his AEW debut at Grand Slam in Artur Ashe Stadium last month, where he confronted Prince Nana during a promo, and attempted to drive a wedge between Nana and Swerve.
Swerve made his return to AEW television for the first time since All Out at WrestleDream in his hometown of Tacoma, Washington, where he chose to stand by Nana, rejecting the managerial services of MVP.
Swerve and Shelton Benjamin wound up getting into a brawl, and MVP has now commented on Swerve’s decision.
Taking to Twitter to react to the segment, he said:
Bad business decision... https://t.co/CqTUUO0z4w

During the segment, the history between MVP and Swerve was brought up, including a match that they had in DEFY Wrestling, who re-shared the bout between the two following the segment.
MVP would also comment on the match on social media, saying:
I told you, we have history! I just hope for his sake he doesn't become a historical footnote. https://t.co/1cZq1XniNX

Former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley has also reportedly signed a contract with AEW, with him expected to link up with MVP and Shelton soon.
