Following the Emergence 2024 special, a new report has revealed that TNA Wrestling star Gisele Shaw has been granted her release.
In a new report from Fightful Select, Sean Ross Sapp reported that Gisele Shaw has effectively finished up with TNA Wrestling. It was revealed that Shaw recently requested and granted her release from the company.
The release was granted on the condition that Gisele work the Louisville tapings on August 31 following TNA Emergence and put someone over on the way out. The match was filmed this past weekend.
Sources claimed that TNA Wrestling worked smoothly to grant Shaw’s release and didn’t put up a fight in keeping her around.
Despite never winning a title in TNA, Gisele competed for the TNA Knockouts, Tag Team, ROH Women’s World Title, AAA Reina de Reinas Title and NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship during her near-three year run in TNA/IMPACT.
During her time in the promotion, Shaw also won the PROGRESS Women’s Championship.
Shaw is scheduled to appear for Scott D’Amore’s Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling later this year. Those in TNA Wrestling expect her to be a regular in that company.
JJA Sport Studio will provide any further updates on Gisele Shaw’s future following her TNA Wrestling release when they become available.
