Another TNA Wrestling star made an on-screen appearance at tonight’s WWE NXT Battleground premium live event.
There was a first-time ever cross-promotional title match on tonight’s NXT Battleground premium live event as Roxanne Perez put her NXT Women’s Championship on the line against TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace.
However, Grace wasn’t the only current TNA Wrestling star to make an appearance on the show.
During Perez vs Grace, Tatum Paxley appeared and looked to steal Grace’s TNA Knockouts Championship belt from ringside, but she was interrupted by a familiar face.
With Vic Joseph on commentary calling the moment perfectly, he exclaimed that “Dana, I mean, Ash by Elegance is here!”
Formerly known as Dana Brooke in WWE, TNA’s Ash By Elegance appeared on the ramp and cut Paxley off from being able to steal the belt.
They were both knocked down by Jordynne Grace, who, after the distraction, was defeated by Roxanne Perez.
Grace defends the TNA Knockouts Title in an “open challenge” at Against All Odds on June 14, with many believing Paxley will be her opponent.
In the main event of Battleground, Trick Williams retained the NXT Championship against the debuting Ethan Page
