After concussion issues, Corey Graves retired from in-ring action and has since gone on to be a respected voice on WWE television.

Graves’ retirement came after a concussion incident during his feud with Adrian Neville (now PAC in AEW) in late 2013.
His 2014 return would see his career cut short, suffering a second concussion and revealing his retirement at that the December  NXT TakeOver: R Evolution pre-show.
Although Graves is reportedly medically cleared, he hasn’t taken up a wrestling return, continuing to provide commentary on WWE programming.
Speaking about the possibility of a return to wrestling, Graves has said that his “focus has really shifted” and he has “a lot more motivation” as the lead commentator on WWE SmackDown.

Graves, however, was recently seen in a training ring, exchanging moves with his own brother, Sam Adonis.
The short sequence, shared to Twitter, can be seen below this news story and is from “a few months back.”
Before signing with WWE in 2011, Graves was a feature across the independent circuit as Sterling James Keenan.

In March 2024, Adonis was backstage at the Dallas episode of WWE SmackDown.
In the report, it was noted that Adonis is working for AAA without a contract.
