A top WWE star has declared themself a ‘champion without their championship’ after ‘bringing out the best’ in the rivals.
Drew McIntyre has been one of the highlights of Monday Night Raw over the past few months, with him having rivalries with many top WWE stars, including Seth Rollins, CM Punk and current World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest.
Taking to Twitter today, Drew dubbed himself a ‘champion without his championship’ after bringing out the best in other members of the roster.
He wrote:
Seth Rollins – took himself beyond the limit against me
Jey Uso – Had to use more than 2 moves against me
CM Punk – Is showing he ain’t washed (he is) against me
Damian Priest – Finally proved he has some chops… against me
I’m the one setting the bar on Raw. I’m bringing out the best in others. The Champion without my championship.
Stop me when I’m telling lies.
Drew was pulled from the 2024 King of the Ring tournament due to an injury, with Jey Uso replacing him against Finn Balor.
