A former champion in WWE has said that they would be open to a return appearance after previously turning them down.
Former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Billie Kay and Peyton Royce were released from the company back in 2021 after spending three years on the main roster.
Previously, the pair had revealed that they were offered a spot to appear in the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble match, but turned down the opportunity due to it being too fresh after their release.
However, in a new interview with Ring the Belle, Peyton Royce (Cassie Lee) said that she would be open to appear in the Royal Rumble in the future should the opportunity arise.
She said:
“Yeah, I’m open to it, for sure (she said about WWE’s Royal Rumble). I would love that. It’d be so good to catch up and I mean, it’s the Royal Rumble.
“We said no last time because we were still pretty hurt about it but, I feel healed now and I feel like I’d love to do that if the opportunity came.”
