Damian Priest has shared the WWE moment that he had to remind himself to stay in character because the moment was so massive.

While Backlash 2024 in Lyon, France was iconic, last year’s 2023 Backlash in Puerto Rico will always hold a special place in Damian Priest’s heart.
Recently, he opened up about how during Bad Bunny’s entrance ahead of their match at Backlash, he had to literally remind himself to keep a straight face.

Speaking to Squared Circle Pit, Priest said about the big entrance:
“Yeah, that’s exactly what happened (almost slipped out of character during Bad Bunny’s WWE Backlash entrance).
“I had to be like, hey, cut it out. Stay in it, stay in it… I’ve been in the crowd where you could feel the floor shaking a little bit and whatnot but being in the ring, you don’t really feel the tremble. You don’t really feel that.
“But I felt it that night. That was wild, in his entrance and I got goosebumps while I was in the ring waiting for him and then but I had to keep a straight face, you know? Angry or whatever but, that was one of the wildest things I had ever seen.”

Damian Priest remains the WWE World Heavyweight Champion after he cashed his Money in the Bank contract at WrestleMania 40 on Drew McIntyre.
McIntyre had just bested Seth Rollins for the title however was distracted by a ringside scuffle with CM Punk as their story continues despite Punk’s injury.
