A Dave Bautista-led movie that also stars WWE’s Drew McIntyre has received a late 2024 big screen release date.
The Killer’s Game is based on the novel by Jay R. Bonansinga and is directed by JJ Perry.
Adapted by Rand Ravich and James Coyne, the movie sees Batista as the hitman Joe Flood.
According to Deadline, Flood is diagnosed with a terminal illness and opts to take matters into his own hands by taking out a hit on himself.
He hires a hitman to do the dirty work who goes on to target his ex-girlfriend (Sofia Boutella), with Flood having to fend off the assassin’s colleagues and win back his ex before it’s too late.
McIntyre stars in the movie as Rory McKenzie, with Terry Crews, Sir Ben Kingsley and Scott Adkins also starring.
A veteran of the action movie genre, Adkins previously starred with WWE’s Wade Barrett in 2016’s Eliminators.
The Killer’s Game was announced for a September 13, 2024 release date by Lionsgate and is produced by Andrew Lazar, Steve Richards and Kia Jam.
