A WWE star has addressed the fact they haven’t been receiving opportunities every week ahead of their upcoming contract expiry.
Although the WWE Draft of 2024 would see her remain on the Raw roster, Natalya has recently plied her trade over in NXT.
The May 21 episode of WWE NXT saw her team with Karmen Petrovic, defeating Lola Vice and Shayna Baszler.
This defeat led to the collapse of the Vice & Baszler tag team, sending them to NXT Battleground for a match of their own.
Recently, a fan of Natalya’s sent a message of support to the WWE veteran, writing:
I've really been enjoying your run in NXT Nattie. Hopefully it isn't over.

In response, Natalya shared her thoughts on her career as a whole, replying:
When I get time and space to remind people of who I am and what I can do, I jump on it. I don’t take a second of this for granted. I’m not someone who can rely on opportunities to come my way every week, so I need to make them count when they’re there. That’s what I’ve been laser… https://t.co/GvwN1TMVvI pic.twitter.com/UVyNkBSEzb

It was recently reported that Natalya’s contract was set to expire within the next couple of weeks with the WWE star recently pitching future matches against TNA and Japanese stars.
As of this writing, there has been no confirmation that Natalya has re-signed with WWE.
Her recent match against Lola Vice at NXT Spring Breakin’ in April 2024 received a standing ovation backstage.
The full women’s NXT Underground match from the event can be seen below this news story.
Natalya signed with WWE in January 2007 and made her main roster debut in April 2008 on SmackDown.
Over her 16-year career to date, she has held the WWE Divas Championship, SmackDown Women’s Championship and was a Women’s Tag Team Champion with Tamina.
