Ahead of WWE Clash At The Castle, a new report has revealed a creative pitch to bring back an old WWE pay-per-view name.

WWE has revamped their premium live events with shorter run times and more international shows over the past two years. Now, it looks like the company is considering the return of a beloved pay-per-view name later this year.
In a new report from PWInsider Elite, there have been creative pitches within WWE to bring back the “Bad Blood” pay-per-view title.

The report notes that the idea is to use the title as a tie-in to the anniversary of the first Hell In A Cell Match.
The first Hell In A Cell took place on October 5, 1997 at the first Bad Blood PPV, featuring Shawn Michaels defeating The Undertaker thanks to interference from the debuting Kane.

The plan would be to have a Hell In A Cell bout for the October premium live event broadcast on Peacock and WWE Network.
Also worth note, October 5, 2024 is a Saturday, so WWE could even do the show on the exact anniversary date of the first ever Hell In A Cell match if they wished.
JJA Sport Studio will provide any further updates on the return of WWE Bad Blood when they become available.
