Following his surprise appearance at WWE WrestleMania 40, John Cena has addressed his WWE career “coming to an end.”

At WrestleMania 40 Night Two, John Cena made a surprise appearance during the Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes Undisputed WWE Universal Championship main event.
Since then, Cena has been focused on his out of the ring responsibilities as a major star in Hollywood.
In the past few years, Cena has made less frequent appearances on WWE programming as his career has winded down.

In a new interview with People Magazine’s website, John Cena addressed his time with the company “coming to an end.” He said:
“I know my WWE journey is coming to an end, but fitness was a part of my life long before the WWE journey started.”
“Fitness will be a part of my life, hopefully as long as my heart’s beating.”
“So the WWE has been a great chapter in my life  — it’s year 23 for me — and the sun’s setting on that chapter in the book, but fitness will never not be a part of my life.”

It remains to be seen when Cena will make his return to the ring at the time of this writing.
