Another WWE star’s contract has officially expired, with them expected to sign with AEW following their free agency.

Numerous WWE contracts have come up in recent weeks, with several stars re-signing with the company, while others were either let go or opted not to renew.
Dijak announced earlier this week that the company had opted not to extend his contract, and another WWE star is now officially a free agent.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Ricochet, who was recently written off WWE television by Bron Breakker after giving his notice to the company that he wouldn’t be re-signing, is now officially a free agent.
Ricochet was removed from WWE’s active roster page to it’s alumni section last night, and Fightful has now confirmed that his deal has officially expired as of midnight July 1.

Sources within both WWE and AEW expect Ricochet to join AEW following the expiration of his WWE contract, though Fightful Select had reported that he was not planned to face Will Ospreay at All In at Wembley Stadium as of recent weeks.
Ricochet’s fiancée Samantha Irvin is set to continue with WWE following Ricochet’s departure.
While Ricochet was contractually unable to appear at Forbidden Door last night, fellow free agent Dijak was present backstage at the show.
