An interpromotional match featuring WWE star Julius Creed has now officially been announced, with the Creed Brothers set to compete at a non-WWE event.
It was previously confirmed that Julius and Brutus Creed will both be in action at GCW Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XI, which will take place on July 27 in Brooklyn, NY.
Julius Creed’s opponent has now been announced, with Josh Barnett taking to Twitter to reveal that the WWE star will face former Bellator MMA competitor Matt Makowski.
Barnett shared the following preview for the match:
Welcoming Julius Creed to Bloodsport will be none other than Bloodsport and Bellator MMA veteran, Matt Makowski.
We all know of Creed’s tough as nails collegiate wrestling skills, but will he be able handle the strikes and submissions of Makowski?
Only one way to solve this question at Josh Barnett’s: Bloodsport XI…through the ritual of combat.
Makowski currently has a 2-2 record at Bloodsport events. He most recently competed at Bloodsport at April’s Bloodsport X event, where he was defeated by NXT star Charlie Dempsey.
Bloodsport matches are unique, with no ring ropes, and competitors only able to win via knockout or submission.
