A WWE star that was previously pulled from the active roster is reportedly in discussions for a return to action.
According to a new report from PWInsider, multiple sources have confirmed that there’s been “internal talk” of a return for Raquel Rodriguez.
The report states that the return could happen “in the near future.”
Rodriguez has been battling Mast Cell Activation Syndrome which resulted in an initial absence from December 2023 to February 2024.
Despite dealing with flareups of the condition, Rodriguez was able to return for the 2024 Elimination Chamber match – and the Raw before and after it – in late February, but hasn’t been seen since on WWE TV since then.
In March it was reported that she had been ‘pulled’ from the company’s internal active roster.
Raquel Rodriguez has a history with both Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan, who are set to face off in a match for the WWE Women’s World Championship at SummerSlam 2024.
WWE SummerSlam is set to take place on Saturday, August 3 in Cleveland, Ohio.
We’ll keep you posted with any further updates on Rodriguez’s status.
