Amidst his absence from the company, WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman has teased his return in The Bloodline storyline.
On the June 28 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline turned on Paul Heyman after Heyman refused to acknowledge Sikoa as his “Tribal Chief.”
This led to a brutal beatdown by The Bloodline that finished off with Heyman being Shield triple powerbombed through the commentary table. Since then, WWE fans have not seen the WWE Hall of Famer on the company’s programming.
On August 17, Paul Heyman took part in a panel at the NYC Fanatics Fest. When asked about his return and The Bloodline storyline, Heyman said:
“You don’t know if or when ‘The Wise Man’ will return. You don’t know who else Solo may or may not have in his back pocket ready to debut. You don’t know what our moves, what Roman Reigns’s moves, what my moves, what anybody’s moves can be.”
“All you know is that Roman Reigns is back. He’s back to reclaim the title of ‘Tribal Chief’ from Solo and Solo has so much backup right now that Roman’s in deep, deep, deep trouble.”
It remains to be seen if or when Paul Heyman will make his WWE return at the time of this writing.
